Born in 1980 in Granada, Serena Molina is currently working as researcher (2008) at the Institute of Polymer Science and Technology (CSIC) in Madrid, on preparation of semipermeable membranes by Wet Phase-Inversion Method, the evaluation of flux parameters in reverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF) and also the study of fouling in membranes.
In 2002, she worked at Holcim S.A. (Spain) as a fellowship researcher carrying out studies on cement processing and quality control on raw materials and finished products.
She obtained her B.Sc. (2006) at the Universidad de Granada.
In 2007, she attended the Advanced Technician Master in Occupational Risks Assessment at the Universidad de Granada.
In 2008 she attended the Advanced Specialization Master in Plastics and Rubber at ICTP-CSIC. She has a proved experience on a broad range of method of synthesis and characterization (NMR, UV/VI, FT-IR, DSC, TGA).
